Principal's Message

Welcome!

Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year! As the principal at Hanh Phan Tilley Elementary, I feel blessed to have the opportunity to open the first school in decades in the south east area of Central Unified. Construction began on the permanent site in July of 2017 and will be completed January 2019! Our mission at Tilley is to ensure the all students engage in a rigorous, relevant, standards-based instruction every day to gain the necessary skills to be prepared for success in college, career and community. The theme for Tilley is: Building Relationships and a Culture of Literacy through Rigorous Reading Experiences. Every student at Tilley will L.E.A.P. to success by Leading themselves, Engaging in their learning, Acting responsible and safe and Practicing positive behaviors and attitudes. At Tilley we are a family! Parents are always welcome on campus to participate in their child’s education. The statement is true, it takes a village to raise and educate a child. Working together ensures that every child is successful! #BetterTogether Karen Davis
